Su Casa : Alliance for Immigrant Women’s meeting

The Alliance for Immigrant Women will hold its first quarterly meeting of 2007 on Thursday, February 8th from noon until 2:30pm at Su Casa Hispanic Center, 7036 Fairpark Avenue, Cincinnati, Ohio 45216. The group will review accomplishments and lessons learned from 2006 and to strategize and realign for 2007. Please mark your calendar now and plan to join on February 8th. Please RSVP to Amelia Berry at 513-361-2146.

Lunch will be available for $5 per person. If you would like lunch, please include that in your RSVP along with any dietary restrictions, and plan to bring $5 cash or check to the meeting. (Lunch will consist of wrap sandwiches from Kaldi’s as well as chips, cookies, drinks, etc.)

Su Casa : Little Gifts for Holidays at Su Casa!

YWCA organized at Su Casa this Saturday a "Little Gifts for Holidays" for immigrant women. YWCA provided wood boxes and all the required painting materials, and the participants used their creativity to come up with cool colorful designs for the boxes. They will be used as Holiday gifts for their families.

Festival : Hispanic Fest Awards Dinner

On Friday, Oct. 20th, Su Casa hosted the 2006 Hispanic Fest Awards Dinner - a recognition for the many volunteers who have helped in organizing the Festival.
Yanille Diaz was the the host of the ceremony, together with Father Bill Jansen.
It is thanks to these volunteers that the 2006 Hispanic Fest is every year such a success!

Festival : 2006 Soccer Tournament (Sept. 23-24)

The Sixth Annual Copa Su Casa 2006 Soccer Tournament at the Hamilton County Fairgrounds just finished this Sunday, September 24, 2006. The organizers invited top 8 teams from the area to crown the Hispanic Champion of 2006 in a Lightning single elimination tournament. There were teams from Florence, Hamilton, Beechmont, Norwood, Price Hill and they represented Latinos from all Latin American Countries. All proceeds are for the Su Casa Hispanic Ministry Center Sports Program which also conducts annual Volleyball and Basketball Tourneys.
